1. Clean the equipment properly

Cleaning the exterior of the diesel engine, chassis, and working equipment of the machinery can play a role in removing scale and dirt. However, it is strictly prohibited to use high-pressure and high-temperature water guns to wash areas with high waterproof requirements, especially electrical parts, during the cleaning process to avoid damage.

2. Replace lubricating oil and grease

During seasonal maintenance, replace the Gear oil in the transmission, transfer case, differential and steering gear with the Gear oil used in winter, and pay attention to cleaning when changing the oil.

3. Selection of fuel oil

Diesel engines should use low-temperature oil with lower viscosity. Try to use high-performance engine oil as much as possible. This type of oil not only does not oxidize easily at high temperatures, but also does not leave sediment in the precise components of the diesel engine, which can greatly extend the lifespan of the diesel engine. Multi grade oil can operate over a wide temperature range, and generally can be selected with viscosity grades of SAE5W-40 or SAE10W-40.
