New progress in drilling the Valin ç a copper mine in Ecuador

Solar Resources Inc. has announced new progress in drilling the Warintza deposit in the Warintza project in southeastern Ecuador.

The ore section of Walinsa middle deposit that can be designed for Surface mine is near surface mineralization with high grade. The estimated ore resource of this ore section is 180 million tons, with a copper equivalent grade of 0.82%; The estimated ore resource is 107 million tons, with a grade of 0.73%.

The recent drilling has extended the scope of the ore section along the northeast direction, and drilling has been planned. The expansion drilling 250 meters away from the center of Valin Sa has extended its scope to the northwest, demonstrating new potential.

The SLS-72 hole is drilled on a newly built edge expanding platform. At a depth of 48 meters, an ore deposit of 830 meters was found, with a copper equivalent grade of 0.50%, including 268 meters of mineralization with a grade of 0.60%, extending the ore body to the northeast without penetration.

The SLS-71 hole and SLS-72 were drilled northeast on the same platform, with a depth of 494 meters starting from the surface and a copper equivalent grade of 0.42%, including mineralization with a thickness of 212 meters and a grade of 0.60%.

The SLS-73 hole was drilled northward from another newly built expansion platform, with a depth of 128 meters and a grade of 0.60%. It included mineralization with a thickness of 26 meters and a grade of 0.96%, extending the ore body towards the northeast without penetration.

The above three holes will extend the Northeast Extension to the east and northeast, and two other platforms have been planned to verify the possible extension of ore bodies under the sapropelic soil layer.

Across from Valin Sa, SLS-74 was drilled from a newly constructed platform, located 250 meters northwest of the current drilling network, with the goal of verifying the potential for high-grade mineralization near the surface. The hole features a 224 meter ore deposit with a grade of 0.41%, including mineralization with a thickness of 54 meters and a grade of 0.80%.

In the northwest contact zone of Valin Sa, low-grade gold mineralization is observed in the granite diorite porphyry of hole SLS-74. The ongoing mapping and sampling will help evaluate the potential of the 700 meter gap zone between Wallinsa and Wallinsa West.

The analysis of drilling samples from the Valin Sadong deposit will soon yield results, with the potential to expand the mine. New boreholes will be deployed in the recently discovered southeast of Valinza and Patrimonio.
